So you can sing, act, dance - but not all three at the same time? Our upcoming Arts Education program seeks to change just that. The goal of this week long study of theatre arts is to empower young artists by encouraging self-expression, nurturing individual creativity and developing inner talent through training in three disciplinary areas: dance, drama and voice -- thereby creating the “Triple Threat.”
Students study with seasoned Broadway professionals and teaching artists in classes including: Audition Techniques, Theatre Dance/Hip-Hop, Voice, Acting, Projection, and Individual Coaching. Guest artists (either of stage or screen) will visit weekly to engage students about a career in the theatre, life on tour, auditioning and performing. At the end of the week’s intensive, students are showcased in an ensemble piece featuring singing, dancing and acting.
The TTP program runs July 21st-25th from 9:30am - 1:30pm and is open to students ages 10 - 16 for $320. For more information on the dance, acting, and voice techniques and on the program overall please visit our website linked here ».
