SummerJazz Stamford is Back!

Ensembles, master classes, and improv - oh my! SummerJazz Stamford is back at The Palace. Created by Joe Corsello and Rick Petrone, SummerJazz Stamford is a two week program for students of all ages and levels.

Featuring masters classes, improvisation, music history appreciation, reading skills, and ensemble performances - the program is staffed by professional jazz musicians and educators with some guest appearances by top performers and clinicians. All instruments are welcome, but students must provide their own, as well as be able to read music.

The program runs July 7th - July 18th, Monday thru Friday from 9am - 1pm. All practice rooms and stages are air conditioned and refreshments are provided daily.

Legendary music icon Quincy Jones says Andreas Varady is "one of the most talented people on this planet, who takes the music back to where it belongs." Andreas has played at a slew of international jazz festivals, including: Cork Jazz Festival, Glasgow Jazz Festival, Derry Jazz Festival, Freiburf Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival and many others. This 16-year-old prodigy is a force to be reckon with in the jazz guitar arena.
